What you are agreeing to
These Terms are the contract between you and NAYEE LLC, 30 N Gould St, Suite R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, for HolidayDB: the website, the API, and related tools.
If you use HolidayDB, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not create an account, do not call the API, and do not scrape the site.
Read this together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy.
What HolidayDB is
We sell access to structured holiday and public-holiday data over HTTPS, plus account pages, keys, and usage stats. Paid plans unlock production-style limits. A development mode exists so you can try integration before you pay.
Accounts
Sign up with real contact details. You keep your password and API keys secret. Anything done with your key is treated as your responsibility until you revoke the key and we have had time to process that.
We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, for hammering the service past fair use, or for breaking the rules below. We try to be fair; we are not obliged to give a warning first when the risk to other customers is obvious.
Money and plans
Paid plans renew on the schedule you pick (monthly or yearly unless we offer something else). Stripe charges the card or method on file. If you go over included API volume, overage fees apply as shown on the pricing page at the time of the bill.
You can cancel from the dashboard. You normally keep access until the period you already paid for ends.
Taxes are added where the law requires them; list prices are usually shown without tax unless we say otherwise.
What you must not do
No reverse engineering our stack to clone the database or bypass limits. No sharing keys in a way that lets strangers free-ride your quota. No reselling our dataset as your own product without written permission. No illegal use, no harassment of our staff or other users.
If we see automated abuse, scraping behind a paywall, or deliberate meter fraud, we may cut access quickly and without a refund for the abused period. We can also involve lawyers if the damage is serious. We hope it never comes to that.
Who owns what
We own the HolidayDB name, the code, the compiled dataset, and the look of the site. Your subscription is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the API under your plan rules. You do not get ownership of our IP by paying us.
Data is not a promise from the government
We work hard on accuracy and uptime. Still, the service is as is: calendars change, governments publish late, and networks fail. You are responsible for how you use the data in payroll, HR, or compliance stacks. When in doubt, check an official source for the jurisdiction that matters.
Liability cap
Where the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, indirect damage, or knock-on effects. For a single dispute tied to the service, our total exposure is capped at what you paid us in subscription fees for the one calendar month the problem relates to (not counting overages or one-off consulting). Where the law in your country does not allow this kind of liability limit, that limit does not apply to you.
Changes to these Terms
We post updates here. If the change is big, we may also email active customers. Using the service after the new Terms go live means you agree to the new version for new activity.
Law and courts
Wyoming law applies. For anything that must go to court, you and we agree on Sheridan County, Wyoming, unless a consumer rule where you live says you must sue at home.
